As the Customer Marketing Operations and Insights Analyst you will play a key role within the Customer Experience organization helping to drive marketing effectiveness through operations optimization and data analytics. You will report into the Director of Customer Marketing, working with a global team of Customer Marketing Managers, and serving as a trusted partner by gathering, organizing and analyzing data sets from multiple sources. You will do this by delivering actionable insights, optimizing processes and workflows, and leveraging reporting tools to identify trends, market insights and marketing program effectiveness. How you will make an impact: Support the global customer marketing team in executing marketing campaigns, including sourcing, organizing and manipulating data sets, segmentation, campaign tracking and reporting. Identify and leverage reporting tools to analyze campaign performance, and identify trends and optimization opportunities, including recurring reporting. Present observations, analysis and recommendations to various levels of team members and leaders within Research Marketing. Build processes and recommendations to improve the efficiency, reach, and results of the Customer Marketing team Perform ad hoc analyses of business performance trends to inform executive decisions. For example, performing deep dive analytics on high-impact topics such as drivers of usage of Wiley offerings by customer segments and the long-term impact Customer Marketing campaigns are having on renewal rates. Use data and qualitative information to help develop strategy; drive and optimize our renewals business and customer lifecycle. Responsible for maintaining a strong knowledge of technology, processes, software, apps, and business models across the entire Customer Experience organization. Acquire and maintain a strong knowledge base and understand of technology processes, software, apps, and business models accross the entire Customer Experince organization. We are looking for people with: A Bachelor’s degree. 2-3 years’ experience in marketing operations or marketing data analysis. A high-level ability to understand, interpret and tell stories with data to influence strategic direction. Experience, ability and desire to present to internal teams. Intermediate to Advanced ability in Excel’s analysis tools, including proficiency with charts, graphs and data visualization tools, forecast and trend tools, formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX and MATCH. A willingness and abilty to regularly work outside of ‘normal’ office hours (with a flexible schedule) to meet the needs of a global team. Proficiency in Turkish, Russian, Italian, French or Traditional Chinese - this is just a plus, not essential.
