The next 10 years will be dominated by community-led companies. But creating a successful community is often difficult and time consuming. Commsor helps companies and teams build better and stronger communities.
We're a small and fully distributed team, currently spanning California to Poland and we take pride in our ability to function as an effective remote-first organization.
We offer market-rate salaries(including equity), a home office stipend, unlimited vacation (mandatory 3 weeks per year), insurance, as many books as you could ever hope to read, and a tight-knit group of people passionate about creating for the future of community.
Whereabouts: Fully remote
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 USD plus equity

We're looking for our first official content hire! We already create a good deal of content, but we have plans for even more in the coming year. We need someone who is passionate about community (or willing and able to learn a lot about community in a short period of time), loves writing, and is able to pick our collective brain at Commsor and turn that into valuable things for our customers and our community.
What Will You Do?
- Create long-form content for a variety of new and ongoing projects (we can't tell you what all of these are publicly, but we promise they're fun)
- Assist with our weekly newsletter
- Work cross-functionally with Product and Success teams to create content for our customers
- A whole lot of other misc projects that come with being at a startup
Here's What We're Looking For
📝 Exceptional Writing Skills
You've gotta write good well.
There will likely be a good amount of research and analysis that is needed in this role. You must be able to do deep dives without much handholding, reach out to people in the community space, and derive insights from data you collect.
💻 Experience with Online Communities
While we would love for you to have experience managing communities professionally, it's not required for this role. A solid foundational understanding of online communities is a big plus, but if you're a fast learner and can quickly absorb details and ask the right questions we'd still love to talk to you.
☑️ Project Management
There's a lot going on, and we need someone who is exceptionally organized and able to stay on top of all of the details to ensure we're producing and publishing content at a regular cadence.
🌎 Distributed Work
We are a fully remote, global team that works both synchronously and asynchronously, and we want someone who is able to thrive in that work environment.
💬 Effective Communication
Because of our distributed work setup, we have very few meetings. You must be great at communicating, and unafraid to reach out and ask questions. Be comfortable owning, communicating, and presenting information on specific projects or initiatives, both in writing and (virtually) in person.
How We'll Measure Your Success
We have a basic plan for what your first 30, 60, and 90 days will look like, and you'll work with your manager to set specific goals once you're onboarded and in the swing of things.
We’re committed to building a culturally diverse team and strongly encourage you to apply regardless of your location, background, race, gender, sexual orientation or any other personally defining attribute. We encourage every person who is interested to apply. We’re imperfect communicators, so think of our job postings as the starting point for discussion rather than proof that you shouldn’t apply. Take the leap - you never know, you might just be the perfect person for one of our open roles, even if you don’t match 100% of the job description.
