The Brand Design Director is responsible for providing strategic direction for the Brand, Creative, and Promotions teams in order to create and maintain a consistent, profitable, and cohesive brand experience for the organisation. This individual ensures department objectives align with Marketing objectives as well as the overall Juni Business objectives and strategy.

Our team right is 15, and we're growing quick with ambitions to become 30 in the next few months, we're looking to hire across Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Product and a variety of other roles, you'll see a lot of new crew members joining the Juniverse!
You'll be the first Juni crew member to lead our brand efforts. You'll work closely with marketing and design.
In this role you’ll be responsible for:
Establishing brand design goals for Juni
Strengthing Juni's brand positioning in our industry, and leading on all things Brand Design
Responsible for and create our creative collateral across the funnel (Still pictures, animations, copy etc. for marketing
Building all company material to enable the signing up of customers (Sales, Customer Success and CX resources)
Leading all content on blogs
Responsible for our visual identity across all of Juni (Logo, colour scheme, design system)
Deep knowledge of what drives our customers purchase decision, our competitive landscape and how to differentiate Juni
Tone of voice (what makes Juni distinct?)
Championing the growth and development of the Juni brand both internally and externally.
Leading internal creative services team and relationships with external agency partners.
7+ years experience in a brand-focused design position.
A strong interest in brand design and brand focus
Good knowledge of brand marketing
Detail-obsessed with a keen eye for typography, composition, and color application
Experience expressing a brand identity across a range of channels and campaigns
Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills—proficient at building a narrative around your work and guiding stakeholders through the creative process
Strong conceptual thinking—you can start a project from scratch and come up with something surprising yet strategic
Strong leadership and teamwork skills—you collaborate and mentor, as well as demonstrate the confidence to communicate your ideas clearly
Within 1 month you'll:
Already be rolling out your brand vision and executing on your ideas
Understand how Juni works, get integrated with your team and hit the ground running when it comes to your role
Within 3 months you'll:
Be increasing turn-around time for new marketing/sales assets
Build Brand recognition for values associated with Juni
Have helped us go to market quicker - our velocity has increased significantly
Within 6 months you'll:
Create and execute on the plan for 2021
Designing for branded touchpoints along the customer journey
Work closely with marketing and product teams, guiding and executing on the designs.
