Senior Product Designer

About you

We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer to join our core team. You will be joining our Co-Founder and Design Lead, Jochem, to lay the groundwork for TheyDo’s design language and design team foundation.

You’ll help own the mission of maintaining the love from our customers for our friendly interface.

It is your role to turn validated opportunities in our customer journeys into new product features. Together with the team, from insight to implementation you will work to improve TheyDo’s core experience and bridge between customer needs and engineering, assuring our design goals will be implemented as intended. As a Senior Product Designer, you will be an essential link between how the experience feels, looks and gets shipped.

Your responsibilities:

Help make TheyDo the workflow destination for every customer-oriented team at work.
Design flows and features, like @mentions, Miro-integration, notifications and workflow management.
Contribute to and help shape the TheyDo Design System.
Collaborate and validate design solutions with our top customers to discover how to best translate their needs into features that shape our product.
Work cross-functionally across the company with Strategy, Product, Engineering, Research and Marketing representing design, with significant contribution to the roadmap, planning and prioritisation.
Help recruit and interview new Designers and actively improve our inclusive design hiring process.
Become a mentor to future design roles and design interns, helping them grow their design skills and practices.

What we’re looking for

Prior experience in a Product Design organisation, involving shipping design-led software to end-users. (Scale-up experience is a bonus)
An outstanding portfolio, with presentable case studies showcasing a foundation in typography, interaction and visual design - product sense and idea generation.
Experience working with customer journeys and other research practices like customer interviewing.
A learning & growing mindset: our team size and the process will evolve many times over the next few years. We strive to improve and integrate what we learn continuously.
A self-managed attitude. We love people who dig in and explore, according to our company culture and mindset. In general, you like to discover new things on your own but love to take ideas further together with others.

What we offer

Remote position, for 4-5 days per week, across flexible working hours.
Collaborate with zealous colleagues having 20+ years of experience working in the field.
A unique opportunity to shape a product and our growing team.
Regular off-sites/company outings with the TheyDo team.
Competitive compensation and equity package.
As many vacation days as you need, we expect you to take at least 25.
Professional development reimbursement.
Mental health and wellness reimbursement.
Paid parental leave.
Home office & technology reimbursement.
