PR & Brand Awareness Manager DACH
Are you a talented storyteller who has experience creating and executing a scalable and in-regional PR and brand awareness strategy? This role is important to HubSpot as we continue to expand our footprint in the local ecosystem and evolve brand perception towards a CRM platform for scaling businesses. As our PR & Brand Awareness lead, you will oversee corporate communications, brand reputation, thought leadership, brand campaigns and executive positioning across the region.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive integrated communications experience and storytelling expertise in a product-led / tech organization. They will understand the power of traditional earned media, but experiment with and be excited by new storytelling opportunities and content formats. In short, they know what it means to be relevant and innovative in a rapidly changing landscape.
Lead all strategic PR & brand awareness efforts to increase awareness and understanding of HubSpot as the CRM platform for scaling businesses, its products, people and major milestones.
Develop authentic and high contextual regional campaigns and stories that educate the market, raise visibility, enhance market penetration and help position HubSpot upmarket.
Collaborate with international stakeholders to bring HubSpot’s global go-to-market and brand strategy to DACH markets.
Build and execute best-in-class thought leadership programs for local spokespeople to elevate their credibility, visibility and authority in top-tier avenues, including conferences, podcasts, media appearances and more.
Build and nurture positive relationships with key opinion leaders, spanning journalists, influencers, analysts, podcasters, bloggers, organizations, etc., briefing them on HubSpot’s developments and industry issues.
Create playbooks for emerging channels like podcasts and influencer marketing to grow our awareness and hit our targets.
Drive engaging brand activations to support HubSpot’s vision and reinforce brand affinity.
Research, develop and edit content for external communications, including narratives, messaging, briefing docs, scripts/talk tracks, press releases, blog posts/op-eds, and more.
Manage PR agency and brand budget in the region.
We are looking for someone who:
Has extensive experience in PR, branding and storytelling in the DACH region.
Is experienced and comfortable working with senior-level execs and developing thought leadership platforms.
Thrives on change, able to work in a fast-paced environment and quick to adapt and pivot as required.
Is a creative storyteller, able to see opportunities where they may not be obvious; tapped into all things tech/customer experience.
Has the ability to operate autonomously, able to get work done with little supervision.
Has full professional proficiency in German and English.
It would be nice if you had experience:
Handling tech product PR or communications at a SaaS/ tech company.
With broader funnel knowledge. Ability to understand how your campaigns and projects impact the wider funnel and work cross-functionally with other demand teams (paid, SEO, co-marketing) to maximize impact.
Developing communications around events.
In both agency and in-house working environments.
