Job description

Barkyn delivers health and happiness to pet families around the world. Currently specialized in dogs and growing every month, we provide plans that include dog food and a dedicated online veterinarian.

We’re not only changing the pet market, we’re also reshaping the way the e-commerce experience should feel - human, personalized, seamless & beautiful. We were invited to be part of Google's Startup Growth Program in 2018 and to Google’s Scaleup Program in 2019. We were also considered one of Europe’s Top 100 Startups by Wired.


We're creating a loved brand in Europe and this is where your story starts! You will help us craft the best out of all our marketing channels, being a very skilled generalist marketeer who has already managed social media, email, blog, community and influencers before. Specifically, we expect you to:

Act as a Barkyn ambassador, being true to our brand values and caring friendly tone;
Help to execute email, blog and social media content for all markets;
Help build and manage a strong network of brand ambassadors and influencers across markets;
Present frequent analytical reports on the performance of the channels you’re responsible for;
Achieve productivity standards and goals while contributing with new creative ideas for customer acquisition, satisfaction, engagement and retention.



Experience at B2C and/or e-commerce company (2 years)
Experience managing social media, email marketing, community, blog or influencers (1 year);
Relevant academic background or training in Marketing;
Proficient or Fluent in English;
Passion for digital marketing.

Experience in a startup;
Started or grew an e-commerce business;
Experience in Google Analytics, Google Adwords and Facebook Ads;
Dog owner.
