Junior Frontend Engineer
parcelLab, the leading Operations Experience Management platform, is growing internationally, and fast! We're looking for the best talent from across the world to help us bring people and brands closer together.
We are looking for a Junior Frontend Engineer to join our Customer Operations team.
You will be working closely with our Implementation Managers, Technical Support Engineers and Developers - the only difference is that you are not afraid to get knee-deep in HTML and CSS. You will collaborate with our Designers and the rest of the Customer Operations team to make sure that all of our emails are always looking crisp and working smoothly.
As a digital first company, we offer greater flexibility in working location. Therefore, you can work from one of our offices in London or Munich or remotely within the UK, Germany or Spain.
What you can expect:
Design and implement emails, components and features for our platform
Ensure code quality and actively participate in code reviews
Help shaping our engineering culture by using modern software engineering practices by focusing on writing clean, well-tested and well-refactored code
Experiment, learn new technologies and work in a motivated team
Work on a product used by millions of people each day
What you need to succeed:
2+ years of experience in a similar role
Structured, organised, with an analytical approach to solving problems with innovative solution
SaaS lover who can tackle problems in a holistic way
Excellent work ethic, you are a highly reliable and dependable team member within an agile environment
Help to define and improve our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment
Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review
Fluent in both written and spoken English
Any other language skills, e.g. German, French, Spanish or Italian
Knowledge of Node, Python and AWS, as those are the primary tools we work with
