We're a fully remote team working across 33 countries. You'll be joining a passionate team whose resumes include Canva, Figma, GitLab, Google, InVision, Typeform and Zendesk.

The Head of Talent Acquisition at Maze will use their wealth of recruiting knowledge to build processes that help scale our growing company. This role is a part of our Senior Leadership Team and will report to the Senior Director of People. You'll partner with hiring managers and executives across the company as you assess needs, build the infrastructure to attract top candidates, and create a world-class candidate experience.

Design, develop, implement, and iterate upon creative yet scalable sourcing strategies and techniques to help us attract and hire qualified and diverse talent
Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion at every stage of the talent acquisition process
Build and mentor a talent acquisition team
Advise on all aspects of the interviewing and hiring process – including coaching our teams, shaping relevant candidate pools, refining interview processes, conducting trainings, and facilitating hiring decisions
Define talent metrics and reporting methodologies
Work with hiring managers and executives across the organization to understand talent needs and hiring goals, both immediate and longer term
Drive a positive, holistic candidate experience – from initial contact through onboarding – working with interviewers, hiring managers, and sourcing groups for continuous improvement
Establish and enhance an amazing talent brand for our company
Develop relationships with key organizations, professional associations, educational institutions, sourcing groups, etc. to proactively cultivate our talent pipeline

Proven success building, mentoring, and managing a team tasked with executing talent programs and implementing recruiting strategies for a quickly growing organization
Proven track record in recruiting underrepresented talent and building diverse teams, operating with the principles, practices, and impacts of DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) top-of-mind
Contrarian critical thinking, bringing your vision for the function of recruiting and the tech industry overall, always finding areas to improve
Creative and iterative thought processes, regularly experimenting with new, unique ways to connect with talent communities and measuring efficacy
Intellectual agility, balancing strategy leadership with rolling up your sleeves to bring projects across the finish line together
Demonstrated ability to build recruiting infrastructure, define key recruiting metrics, develop and implement process, measure and communicate progress, and pivot accordingly
Deep knowledge and relevant experience with recruiting tools/platforms and sourcing techniques
Excellent relationship building and networking skills, including internally cultivating rapport with e-team, the SLT and hiring managers, and externally building trust-based connections with diverse technology professionals
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage projects smoothly
Ability to calmly convey urgency with candidates and evangelizing timeliness with hiring teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
