Head of HR

Description’s goal is to make the world more confident and passionate. We do this by empowering Creators to launch highly impactful mobile apps with the click of a button. We are an international remote team of 40 people, supporting 3,000+ creators and 250k+ end users from all over the world.

This is a hugely exciting time for the business as it scales up at pace, we expect to reach 55 people by the end of the year, and 120 by the end of next year. We’re looking for an innovative, dynamic and influential Head of HR who can help us attract, recruit, engage, and retain great people. The role and its remit will expand over time but the initial activities you will be accountable for are:

Work with the Leadership Team to scale our people vision of creating a more confident and passionate team of high location independence
Manage our HR team of 3 people and take the HR function to the next level
Lead the recruitment process to ensure the best people to quickly move through the process and improve key recruitment KPIs, as well as keeping on track with our hire plan
Level up our onboarding, to ensure it is innovative, effective, and fun for new team members
Drive our Performance Management and Reward process to truly motivate our teams for engagement and high-performance
Shape and lead our remote culture, including engagement programs and quarterly offsite events
Develop the Employer Branding to ensure the company stands out in its marketplace and attract the best people
Drive our Learning & Development effort to support individuals across the whole company
Support the company-wide quarterly OKR planning and execution process

What you'll bring to the team

Strategic and executive HR experience gained at a Senior Level
Experience of supporting a remote-first company scale up
Previous experience of working within the technology sector. Experience in a SaaS company would be advantageous
Demonstrable experience of successfully influencing a Leadership Team
Enjoy and demonstrated out-of-the-box thinking, creativity, not afraid to push the boundaries
Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
Enjoy breaking complex problems into simple solutions
Great communication skills and collaborative working style
A proactive nature and not afraid to change the status quo
International experience is beneficial
The ability to take ownership and accountability and evidence your delivery of outstanding outcomes
