What You Will Do
Own the full recruiting cycle for requisitions that can be based in multiple countries and regions (primarily technical roles)
Advisor to the hiring managers - provide a consultative approach to develop and execute the recruiting strategy for each open position
Conduct regular alignment sessions with hiring managers throughout the process to learn and adapt along the way plus make recommendations to improve recruiting outcomes
Contribute to building the candidate community and your professional network on an ongoing basis
Be able to clearly articulate what we do and how people contribute to our objectives
Identify new target markets where there are strong pools of key talent
Work with the comp and HR analytics team to understand compensation within a particular market...as well as use you own knowledge to participate in the discussion
Use data as a means of storytelling - what’s working, where are we getting stuck, etc.
Collaborate with hiring managers to keep a pulse on what’s happening within teams and in the industry to anticipate needs
Promote Percona as an extraordinary place to work
Understand global variances and internal practices in terms of engagement with contractors and/or employees
Engage global candidates with a local mindset - understand currency variations, cultural differences, etc.
Work closely with the Sr. Manager of Talent Acquisition to develop and evolve a global talent insights strategy
Participate in hiring events and candidate community activities
Proven track record with 5+ years of experience including technical recruiting; additional experience with sales, marketing and other business roles highly preferred
A strong background with all full lifecycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing talent, legal, job analysis, wage and salary trends, relationship management, due diligence and negotiation
Experience recruiting in multiple countries required; experience recruiting across global regions and cultures preferred
Experience handling a high volume of requisitions in corporate environment is a must, agency preferred
Exceptional skills building communities of niche talent through creative techniques such as nurture campaigns
Hands-on experience with various interview formats - phone, video, panel, technical, etc.
Knowledge of the open source space and/or SaaS preferred
Experience in small, high-growth technology companies preferred
Advanced to expert level English speaking and writing skills a must
Evangelist for what we deliver as a business and how we can leverage technology to be more effective and efficient
Demonstrated excellence and passion for creating a delightful candidate experience
Fearless with networking and building long-term relationships with potential candidates as well as niche communities and professional networks around the world
Ability to clearly articulate what we do and how people contribute to our objectives

This is a remote role which can be based in the Americas or Europe. Ability to work across multiple time zones and travel up to 10% internationally. Must have a secure, stable internet connection and a dedicated work space.
