The E-commerce Analyst Southern Europe will help growing our online sales - whilst driving higher effectiveness and efficiency of our programs - via an expert understanding of both the what and the why, and will strengthen the digital IQ of the broader organization.

Reporting to the Southern Europe Consumer and Business Insights & Analytics Director, the selected candidate will partner with the Southern Europe Commercial Excellence Team in creating an overall Analytics Strategy for the channel (including capabilities) as well as with local E-commerce, Digital Teams and I&A to set up and monitor the performance of D-Comm initiatives (market share, effectiveness and efficiency), risks & opportunities and real-time optimizations.

This role will provide you the opportunity to lead key activities and to progress your career in a human-first and global-scale organization, including an eventual job rotation within E-commerce and Digital marketing.

In this role you will…

Your responsibilities would include the following:

Identify/Design processes and tools enabling data gathering, data organization and data analysis.
Sell out analytics dashboard to track sales and shares by customers/category/brand.
Maintenance of digital shelf platform (i.e. Edge, Profitero or similar).
Digital shelf analysis, from data to insight (organic ranking, content readiness, rate & reviews, availability).
Conversion media analytics: analyze KPIs from conversion media campaigns (on and off-retailer’s platforms), calculating ROI and partnering with e-com/digital team for improvements.
Create a ROI database.
Partner with e-com and media agencies to integrate reporting/data/insights.
Ad-hoc analysis (i.e. e-retailer specific)
Give expert guidance to the Southern Europe Reporting Specialist, who will finally operationalize and maintain those core reporting routines.
Disseminate and leverage E-comm frameworks and tools from Region/Global function, customizing as needed based on local specs in each SEU market.
Help crafting an E-comm customer segmentation framework that inform prioritization.
Monitor e-commerce trends to identify business opportunities that would generate more resources for the business, drive potential clients, and increase its profitability.
Monitor competition in the online channel.
Formulate fact-based recommendations to business teams (from analysis to presentation).
Share E-comm best practices across BU (ie to feed test&learn, share&reapply, quick wins).

Why you?

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Engineering, IT or similar.
Previous experience in E-Commerce analytics, preferably within a manufacturer and/or online marketplace and/or ecommerce/digital agency.
Very good English proficiency.
High proficiency in Excel, use of digital shelf monitoring platforms (Edge, Profitero) is a plus.
Knowledge and use of Amazon retail and advertising analytics, Google analytics, Google tag manager.
Proficient in SEO and in the most relevant digital metrics (CPC, CPA, CTR, Conv. Rate, SOV).
Strong in organizing data and translating data into business insights.
Strong Passion for the digital world, data and data-connection.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
Very flexible and fast moving, to meet the pace of a very dynamic environment.
Problem-solving attitude, resilient, result-oriented, able to prioritize, team player.
